Thank you to all the students and recent graduates who participated in the Kotlin Multiplatform Contest.

The submission period is over, and our judges are reviewing the entries.

Three lucky winners will receive a trip to KotlinConf on May 21–22, 2026, in Munich, Germany. Authors of all other valid submissions will receive Kotlin souvenirs to celebrate their participation.

Your project must

  • Use Kotlin Multiplatform and run on at least two platforms.
  • Be created specifically for this contest. You cannot submit more than one project.
  • Cover any topic of your choice, showcasing creativity and Kotlin Multiplatform’s capabilities.
  • Not be a template or “Hello World”.
  • Not be a library.
  • Be submitted via a GitHub link, including a detailed README with installation instructions and feature descriptions for all supported platforms.
  • Include a short screencast demonstrating your project’s main features in action.
  • Be in English.

You must

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Be enrolled or have been enrolled in an accredited educational program within the last 12 months.
  • Join the contest Slack channel for updates.
