If your entry is one of the top 3, you'll win a trip to KotlinConf’24 on May 23–24, 2024, with travel and hotel costs covered, courtesy of the Kotlin Foundation. Winners will also receive cool Kotlin swag. Everyone who submits a working application of significant value and complexity will receive prizes, too!


Project requirements

  • Your project must use Kotlin Multiplatform and run on at least two different platforms.
  • Your submission must be created specifically for this contest.
  • The project can be on any topic of your choice. We’ll judge it based on how the creativity of your idea is reinforced by Kotlin Multiplatform.
  • Participants are encouraged to develop substantial and meaningful projects.
  • Submissions must be made as a link to the project on GitHub. It must include a comprehensive README file and clear installation instructions on how to launch the project on all targets and how to try key features.
  • Libraries will not be accepted as submissions. We have a separate program for library grants.
  • All content must be in English.

  • You cannot submit more than one project.
  • Join the contest Slack channel to stay up to date with announcements related to the contest.
