FAQ

About the Awards

The Golden Kodee Community Awards, organized by JetBrains, celebrate individuals and communities that make an outstanding impact on the Kotlin ecosystem by sharing knowledge, organizing events, and inspiring others.

The first edition will take place in 2026, and we’re considering hosting it annually in the coming years.

We feature several categories recognizing different types of community contributions: Creativity, Online Presence, In-Person Presence, Education, and Positive Societal Impact.

Submissions

Once submissions are closed, we will review all entries to ensure they meet our eligibility criteria. Those that do will then be made available for public voting. Anyone from the community can cast a vote. A group of finalists will be invited to the conference, where we will announce the winner in each of the five categories. Winners will be chosen through a combination of public votes and a jury vote.

Voting takes place online through the Award Force platform from March 2 to March 22, 2026.

To ensure fairness, each person can vote once per category.

Follow the KotlinConf website or our X channel to stay up to date on entrants, voting, and results. If you’re a finalist, we will notify you by email.
